Sew up your own adorable pleated handbag with fun SEWING PATTERN.
This unique bag has two cut-out handles that are sewn separately from the bag body so you can use the same fabric for the entire bag or use a contrasting fabric for the handles to give it a totally different look. The instructions are for using the same fabric for the handles as the bag body, but once you have the pattern you will see how to make them in a contrast fabric.
The body has three pleats on each side at the top and two box pleats along the bottom.
Inside is one small patch pocket.
Fold the handles over and you can carry this bag as a big clutch!
This pattern does require some attention to detail and is best suited to someone with some prior sewing experience.
